If there was one major takeaway from the college action on Saturday, it's without a doubt that Ohio State football is far and away the No. 1 team in the country. Remember last week when some haters were saying that Indiana should have been at the top of the CFP rankings?
Ohio State continues flipping streak by stealing 4-star commit from Tennessee
Yeah, those same people were dealt some humble pie after the Buckeyes cruised to a win on the road against Purdue and the Hoosiers needed a last-minute miracle to not fall to Penn State. Indiana proved that it needs to show major improvements if it wants to make Ohio State nervous for when the postseason gets here. It looks like future first-round pick Caleb Downs isn't worried about IU at all. Matter of fact, he appears to have called out Indiana a bit on social media:

Caleb Downs appears to have taken a bit of a shot at Indiana on social media
That's an interesting graphic from Downs' Podcast Twitter page that he co-hosts with his brother Josh, a wideout for the Indianapolis Colts. When the Buckeyes faced Penn State in Columbus, the reigning national champs didn't even break a sweat in posting a head-turning win.
While Indiana had to make the trip to Happy Valley, the Nittany Lions were one defensive stop away from not only taking down the Hoosiers, but potentially ending their Big Ten title hopes too. As things stand, all signs are pointing to these two teams facing off in Indianapolis on Dec. 6 in the conference title game.
Should that happen, it's likely going to pin the No. 1 team in the nation against the No. 2 squad. This is the kind of blockbuster showdown that everyone is waiting for. The Hoosiers will have an upset in mind, as many of their fans think a win will get them the respect they deserve.
However, Ohio State isn't just worried about the Hoosiers. They're looking at the bigger picture, as Ryan Day and Co. have a repeat of winning the natty in mind. Some Ohio State haters are calling Downs out for being too cocky here, but you know what, we love the confidence. If people want Downs and Ohio State to stop talking, they can shut them up on the field. Good luck with that.
