Ohio State basketball team crushes Green Bay despite Bradshaw troubles
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State basketball team was coming into Monday night's game after a big win against Campbell on Friday. They won that game despite learning that they will be without the services of Aaron Bradshaw for quite a while. Against Green Bay, they showed his absence won't be a massive issue.
Ohio State was able to beat Green Bay 102-69. They did that despite the Buckeyes only leading at halftime by ten. After that, they crushed the Phoenix. One of the big reasons why they were able to do that is because of the play of Bruce Thornton. He had 25 points and nine assists. Thornton continues to be the Ohio State Buckeyes' best player.
Jake Diebler's team continues to shoot the lights out of the gym so far. The Buckeyes shot 45% from three. That kind of shooting will help them survive the loss of Bradshaw, who is now under investigation for a domestic violence incident.
The Ohio State basketball team continues to show they area real threat in the Big Ten
Ohio State does have a loss on their record so far, falling to Texas A&M. Despite the loss, the Buckeyes have shown so far this season that they can be a real threat to compete in the Big Ten. While they may not win the conference, they can certainly beat some of the best teams.
The Buckeyes will have a tough game coming up on Friday. They play Pitt on Peacock in a game that will feature a Panthers team that is 6-1. It will be a nice non-conference test for a young team. If they can win this game at home at the Schott, it will be a nice resume-booster.
This is still a young team the season is also still young. So far, the Buckeyes look like a solid team.
