Life sure is good for the Ohio State Buckeyes and things could be even better if linebacker and in-state product Cincere Johnson gives Ryan Day the news he's hoping for. On Sunday, wideout Kayden Dixon-Wyatt committed to the Buckeyes in a huge recruiting win for OSU.

Could Johnson be ready to do the same in the near future? The 6-3, 225-pounder hails from Glenville High in Cleveland and he has been quite vocal about how strong his interest in Ohio State is. He's also quite high on Alabama.

From our chair, it looks like a two-team battle, but could the Buckeyes end up pulling this one off? In some news that the OSU faithful is following closely, a new prediction has gone in for Johnson to commit to the Buckeyes. Not only that, but On3 has given Ohio State more than a 92 percent chance to sign him. Goodness:

Ohio State is in the driver's seat to land 4-star LB Cincere Johnson

If anything, it's now starting to feel like it would be a major shocker if Johnson doesn't make the move from Cleveland to Columbus. In a disappointing update for Day last week, 4-star in-state defensive back Elbert Hill committed to USC and he said he's working to get Johnson to join him in Los Angeles.

However, all signs are pointing to Johnson staying close to him instead. This no question would be a monster get for the Buckeyes and Day, as Johnson is ranked four stars, the No. 6 linebacker in the country, No. 3 player from Ohio and No. 101 prospect nationally per the 247Sports Composite.

Throughout his recruitment, Johnson has picked up more than 30 offers. He's all set to take an official visit to Ohio State on June 13, where Day and his staff will obviously look to send things over the top for the young playmaker. Who knows, maybe a decision will arrive before that visit, but all in all, Ohio State sure is looking good for the playmaker here.
