Need a reminder that anything can happen when it comes to recruiting? Just recently, Ryan Day and the Ohio State football team landed the commitment of elite wide receiver prospect Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, beating out Oregon and many others for his pledge.
Only a few days after Dixon-Wyatt announced his commitment, though, rumors started swirling that he was having second thoughts and that he would potentially flip. What in the world? As it turns out, those rumors turned out to be a bunch of nothing, with Dixon-Wyatt adamantly shooting things down. That's right, he's 100 percent committed and is fully planning on playing for Day and Co. down the road:

Kayden Dixon-Wyatt shot down rumors he was considering flipping his Ohio State verbal
Recently, Dixon-Wyatt and 5-star Ohio State commit Chris Henry Jr. both landed new offers from Delaware State seemingly out of nowhere. With all due respect to NFL legend DeSean Jackson Jr., the Hornets were never going to be able to change either of the wideouts' minds.
The fact that people started to speculate that Dixon-Wyatt was wavering with his decision shortly after his announcement was disappointing, but thankfully he didn't waste any time in doubling down with his commitment via Hayes Fawcett.
Dixon-Wyatt is a talented playmaker and there's a reason so many Buckeyes fans are pretty darn fired up about his future with the team. The 6-2, 180-pounder has picked up 38 offers throughout his recruitment, picking OSU over Oregon, Texas, USC, Alabama and many others.
According to 247Sports, Dixon-Wyatt is ranked the No. 6 wide receiver in the country, No. 10 player from California and the No. 59 prospect nationally. He was a monster get for Day and new offensive coordinator Brian Hartline. The haters hoped he wouldn't pledge to the Buckeyes, with even more hoping he'd eventually flip. Sorry, not going to happen. The youngster is all set to start making plays for the Ohio State offense once '26 gets here.
