This would never happen in a million years.

For most of this past decade, fans of TTUN loved Ryan Day. They wanted him to stay as the head coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes forever because he couldn't seem to beat Michigan. Little did we know that most of the reason for that was the biggest cheating scandal in college football history.

After Day pantsed TTUN in Ann Arbor last November, fans of TTUN are now hoping that he's gone. With their program in shambles, podcasters are predicting Day will leave for the NFL. One podcaster has predicted that in each of the last two years, and he's doubling down on it again.

Michigan podcast predicts Ryan Day to become the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs

On an episode of the Michigan Podcast, Steve Deace once again predicted Ryan Day would leave for the NFL. This time, he thinks he will take over for a retiring Andy Reid, and Kalen DeBoer would become the new coach of the Buckeyes.

"Ryan Day will leave after the season to take over for the retiring Andy Reid as the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. He's gonna be replaced by Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer, who Michigan tried to hire. Offensive guy, Midwestern guy, and he'll end up in Columbus. I know this is the third year in a row I've made this prediction, but this time I'm saying there's a chance. I think it's going to go down this time."

This is like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown again. How many times can a man be wrong about a particular prediction? Reid is not going to retire as long as he has Patrick Mahomes as his quarterback. He has a chance to win a Super Bowl as long as he is leading the offense.

Day might one day decide to go to the NFL, but it certainly won't be after this season. He still hasn't been able to complete all of his goals in one season. He wants to beat Michigan, win the Big Ten, and win a national championship in the same year. Until he does that, he can't leave.

TTUN fans are terrified of Ohio State coach Ryan Day

It's clear that fans of the Wolverines are afraid of Ryan Day and what he will continue to do to TTUN now that they can't cheat. Why else would they keep trying to wishcast him to the NFL? Quite frankly, it's a little bit sad. Ohio State isn't afraid to play anyone.

With Sherrone Moore gone and Kyle Whittingham clearly just a stopgap coach, Ohio State has the opportunity to dominate this rivalry for quite a long time. That's something that happened when Jim Tressel and Urban Meyer were leading the program, and fans want to get back to that.

This prediction will not happen, and it just shows the desperation of Michigan fans trying to grasp at straws. It would be shocking to see Day leave for the Chiefs of all NFL teams, too.
