There have been a lot of rumors flying around the college football world, especially as the season inches closer and closer, but the latest one is now somehow involving Ohio State. Rumors broke out that Fox Sports was nearing a deal with Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy that would include him appearing on Big Noon Kickoff, which seemingly began to anger Ohio State fans.
Portnoy is a very large fan of the Team Up North and certainly doesn't hide his disdain for the Buckeyes, but his response to the rumor was unwarranted and just flat out ridiculous. In his response, Portnoy decided to throw shade at the Ohio State fans who are complaining about even the possibility of Barstool Sports being in the show by reminding them that the Wolverines have beaten the Buckeyes for the last few years.
Honestly, that is all that Michigan fans have right now is the fact that they have a little win streak against Ohio State. However, someone may want to remind Portnoy that while Michigan beat Ohio State last season, the Buckeyes never lost another game and ended up winning it all while Michigan sat at home watching.
These are nothing more than rumors at this point. But all the crying from Columbus is making me feel like itβs Thanksgiving Day weekend again and Michigan is pounding a hapless Buckeye team into the mud for the billionth straight year. πππ https://t.co/kkHIwYMzyQ

Dave Portnoy certainly isn't hiding his disdain for Ohio State in recent post
Yes, Michigan beat Ohio State last season, but when are we going to get over that? Ohio State wiped out any meaning that that win held when they hoisted the College Football Playoff National Championship trophy at the end of the season.
This rivalry is certainly always being fueled by anyone with a hatred for the other team. As one of the biggest rivalries in sports, The Game is known as one of the biggest rivalry matchups of the season because it always results in some of the best football played all season long. Even when Michigan was struggling last season, they still gave the Buckeyes a tough time, but that loss is what helped fuel Ohio State to their National Championship.
