Looking at who picked the Ohio State football team on College Gameday

The Ohio State football team had their first experience with College Gameday this season. It was on the road at Oregon. They were there for one of the biggest games that Autzen Stadium has ever hosted. The Buckeyes are hoping to win the game and take control of the Big Ten.

All of the pickers on College Gameday had to make a decision on who was going to win the game. We knew ahead of time that Kaitlin Olson, the guest picker, was going to take Oregon. The home guest picker always does that. Pat McAfee typically takes whatever team is home for Gameday, which he did again.

Kirk Herbstreit took Oregon to win the national championship before the season. Yet, he decided to take the Ohio State Buckeyes. Desmond Howard always picks against the Buckeyes in big games, so he did that yet again. That left only Nick Saban and Lee Corso as question marks.

Unfortunately, Corso was not able to make the trip to Eugene for Gameday. It's the second week in a row that he has been unable to make the trip. It was revealed early on in the show that he had chosen Ohio State to win this game. It would have been nice to see him put Brutus on though.

Saban likes what the Buckeyes are doing on offense with running the ball. He also likes the defense. He said that until someone can gain big chunks of yards on the Buckeyes, he doesn't see them losing. With that, the picked the Ohio State football team to beat the Ducks.

We'll see what the result of the game ends up being. These are two great teams with a lot of talent. It should be fun to watch.
