The Ohio State football team is taking on Oregon this weekend. It's the first matchup with these two programs since 2021. Oregon game into the Shoe and beat the Buckeyes that game. Ohio State, took on the Ducks for a national championship in the 2014 season and beat them though.

This is another game that will have College Football Playoff and national championship implications. It's the number-two team in the country taking on the number-three team. Whoever wins is almost guaranteed a spot in the expanded 12-team Playoff. The loser isn't out of it, but it becomes harder for them to make it.

Because of how big the game is, College Gameday will be making the trip to Eugene for the game. It's the first time this season that the Ohio State Buckeyes are playing a game where Gameday is. The guest picker for the show has also been revealed.

As always, the guest picker will have ties to the home team. For this matchup, they have Kaitlin Olson as the guest picker. Olson graduated from Oregon and is originally from Portland. It makes sense that Gameday would choose her as the picker for this game.

Olson is currently the star of a new ABC show High Potential. She also is still on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which keeps on rolling. She might not be the most famous alum from Oregon, but she certainly is a prominent one. Obviously, she will take the Ducks when the time comes.

The Ohio State football team is going to try to spoil her appearance. They are the favorite in this game and they are going to show why. I think they are the best team in the country right now and this game could show that to the rest of the country.
