The Ohio State football team is getting ready to sign a lot of recruits on Wednesday. It's Early Signing Day, and the Buckeyes have a pretty full class. Even with the full class, there are bound to be some flips for Ohio State and against them, as well. It's going to be a wild day.
Right now, the Ohio State Buckeyes have the fifth-best 2026 recruiting class. They have done a good job of keeping most of that class together. With coaches getting hired to other programs right before Early Signing Day, those coaches are trying to poach recruits from other teams.
Lane Kiffin just got hired at LSU, and he has been trying to flip an Ohio State receiver recruit. He gave him an offer almost as soon as he was announced as the head coach. That recruit has sent a message to everyone that he will be signing with the Buckeyes.

Four-star receiver recruit Jerquaden Guilford has decided that he will be in Columbus next Fall. He sent a message on social media to let everyone know that.

This message should calm any Ohio State fans that he might be gone. He will be one of the receivers who will be part of the future for the Buckeyes. There's a chance that they lose another receiver commit from this class, but Guilford will be staying put.
Ohio State is the best college in the country at developing wide receivers in the NFL. Receivers who want to be first-round picks end up playing for the Buckeyes. They will have another one this April when Carnell Tate decides to enter the Draft when this season is over.
When he does get picked, Ohio State will be the first college to ever have five-straight first-round picks at the receiver position. They need Tate to keep producing at a high level during the Big Ten Championship and the College Football Playoff.
