The Ohio State football team was excellent this past year on the ground. Having TreVeyon Henderson as the incumbent starter was great, but he had had some injury problems in prior years. The Buckeyes needed someone to help share carries with him.

Ryan Day went out and got Quinshon Judkins. Judkins was the bell-cow at Ole Miss. He did quite well as the primary back for the Rebels, rushing for 1,100 yards in each of his two seasons at Ole Miss. Bringing him into the fold essentially gave the Buckeyes to starting running backs.

Both Ohio State Buckeyes are getting ready for the NFL Draft. Both players are going to be really good running backs for whichever teams decide to draft them. Henderson recently shared why he thinks Judkins will be such a good player at the next level.

While speaking with CBS Sports, Judkins shared why he thinks Henderson is going to be a really good player at the next level and why he was such a good teammate to play with.

Judkins says that he and Henderson certainly have a healthy competition on the field during practice, but that they truly love each other. He says that they were the closest guys when they were in the locker room. They certainly worked well together.

Both running backs are slated to be drafted around the same time, so it will be interesting to see which of them ends up getting taken first. No matter who that ends up being, both Buckeyes will be really good at the next level. They each have home run ability and can block well in pass protection.

The Ohio State Buckeyes will certainly miss both running backs this season, although they have some guys they like for this year, as well.
