It was a great day to be a Buckeye.
But even in the shine of knocking off No. 1 Texas, there was a big concern when Kenyatta Jackson went down, and it was uncertain how banged up the redshirt junior was. Luckily, it appears that he'll be alright moving forward.
Ryan Day says Kenyatta Jackson's injury does not appear to be a long-term injury.

His helmet was taken away, so you can infer what means.
Ryan Day wouldn't reveal the injury in his comments, but you can probably read between the lines.
"Kenyatta, yeah, I don't think I can come out and say what exactly it was, but, you know, they took his helmet away, and we'll kind of evaluate how that is moving forward," Day said. "But I don't see it being a long-term injury."
Well, that's some very good news and a perfect ending to a near-perfect day from the defense.
Arvell Reese held it down when it mattered
Day was obviously very excited about the play of the linebackers and talked in detail about the things he saw from Arvell Reese, who had nine tackles and a sack. The junior from Cleveland was all over the field Saturday.
"Arvell has a lot of versatility and when you get up on Arvell, you can see that he has all the traits it takes to be a dominant linebacker.," Day added. "What I saw out there today was a guy that was running sideline to sideline from the linebacker position at the second level. But also you saw him at the end when KJ went down, he was playing up front, rushing the passer and putting pressure on the quarterback. So he can do all those things.down."
That's always the case when you put together a roster as talented as the Buckeyes. When one guy goes down, another guy steps up. Reese isn't a one-dimensional player and when the moment called for him to be a disruptive presence in the pass rush, he was up for the challenge.
These are the traits that we expect from a championship team, and it looks like the Buckeyes have everything they need to win another trophy.
