Still riding high after watching THE Ohio State football team take down Notre Dame on Monday night? Of course you are. The Buckeyes captured their ninth National Championship in program history and there's no question that Jeremiah Smith was one of the heroes for the team.

Not only did Smith post the game-tying touchdown in the second quarter, but his 57-yard reception with the game on the line will forever be remembered in OSU history. Smith was riding high after the win and he decided to have some fun on social media too.

In the Cotton Bowl win over Texas, Smith was held to just one catch for three yards, leading to countless people getting proverbial jabs in on him online. Plenty of Notre Dame fans were trying to get in his head too, but they failed miserably in that department. Smith saw the negative words being sent his way, but after winning the natty, he decided to put one ND supporter in particular in their place:

No fly zone? That didn't end up being the case in primetime. Smith had plenty of people concerned when he had a wrap on his left hamstring leading up to kickoff, but he wasted zero time in calming nerves. On the night, he finished with five receptions for 88 yards and a TD.

On 3rd down late in the action, it looked like the Fighting Irish were going to get a stop/the ball back, down one score. However, with the Irish in man coverage, Will Howard dropped back and fired a deep ball deep downfield, giving his freshman wideout a chance to make a play.

Smith burned by the Notre Dame defensive back and showcased his sure hands to come up with one of the biggest plays of the season. Ball game, Ohio State are your champs. This is a moment Smith will remember for the rest of his life - what a player.
