Think this game meant a lot to stud Ohio State wideout Jeremiah Smith?

You better believe it. While it wasn't pretty, and there's also a ton of concern about the status of quarterback Julian Sayin, No. 4 was downright fired up after the Buckeyes were able to escape with what turned out to be a heart-stopping 19-15 win.

As you might have been able to guess, Smith was immediately asked postgame about Ohio State, hoping to get revenge on the Hoosiers following the loss last December in the Big Ten title game. Straight up, Smith didn't hold back in letting everyone know it was on his mind and that he wasn't the only one.

"Yeah, definitely," Smith said when asked about the loss to Indiana last year fueling this team. "We remember what happened Dec. 6 last year. They beat us, and we knew we had to come out here and be focused to win the game. That's all that mattered today."

Jeremiah Smith and his Ohio State teammates got sweet revenge on Indiana

In the first half, it seemed like Ohio State was going to be in for a long day on offense, but the Buckeyes still managed to take a 10-7 lead into the halftime break. In the fourth quarter, with Ohio State up 13-7, it was time for Smith to take over and remind everyone why he's going to be a Top 5 pick come next April.

With Ohio State facing 4th-and-1 near the Indiana 40, Sayin looked downfield -- and despite two Hoosier defenders in the area, he threw it up for Smith to come down with the pigskin, which he did. Come on, Smith is not real, but plays like this are something Buckeyes fans have grown used to.

And with his postgame comment about wanting to stick it to Indiana, you can tell that he was extra fired up to come up big for his team too. Smith was also asked about Sayin's concerning injury, and while the QB will miss 'several weeks, per Ryan Day, the wideout said that he told his signal-caller when he returned to the sidelines that the Buckeyes were going to be ready to grind out a win for him.

Ohio State did just that, with Indiana fans going to be haunted by Nick Marsh's foot landing out of bounds instead of him securing the game-winning TD for the home team. That would have ruined life for Ohio State, but the Buckeyes got lucky, meaning Smith can throw a little shade. He'll also be enjoying this win for a little while too, which he 100 percent deserves.
