The College Football Playoff is back this week and Ohio State football fans are ready to see what the Buckeyes can get done against Miami. It goes without saying, but the pressure is on for the reigning national champs to take care of business and end the season for Carson Beck.

New recruit's quote shows why Ohio State football fans shouldn't get too excited

While no one is looking ahead, it sure looks like Jeremiah Smith has some revenge on his mind for the national title game should OSU advance. This week, Smith didn't hold back in saying he thinks Ohio State will dance with the Hoosiers again this winter. Will that end up going down?

In order for that to happen, Ohio State will not only have to beat Miami, but it would then have to take down the winner of Ole Miss vs. Georgia in the national semifinals. On the other side of things, the Hoosiers need to beat Alabama this week, and then Oregon/Texas Tech in the semis.

So, obviously a lot needs to happen in the coming weeks for a Big Ten title game rematch to take place, but the Buckeyes and Hoosiers are widely considered the two best teams in the country. Plenty of people would gladly sign up for the two powerhouses to face off once again.

The list includes Smith, as he and his teammates are still clearly ticked off about losing to the Hoosiers earlier this month. It was a shocking result, as Ohio State simply could not get into any kind of a rhythm on offense. That can't be the case moving forward.

Miami's defensive line will look to give Julian Sayin fits, but the Ohio State offensive line will look to answer the call and step up in terms of protecting him. All eyes are on Miami for the Buckeyes, but another battle with Indiana indeed could be coming soon. If that does end up being the case, Ohio State will have all the motivation it needs to showcase to the world and Indiana that the Buckeyes are the top dogs.
