There has been a lot of attention on the Ohio State football team this spring. Ever since the basketball team was bounced in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, fans of the Buckeyes have been anxious to watch what Ryan Day has cooked up for the 2026 season.
After losing the final two games of last season, the Ohio State Buckeyes are more motivated than ever to play well this year. There are 51 new players on the roster, and fans are interested to see how all of them fit together. That will happen during the Spring Game on Saturday.
It will be a real game with tackling and everything happening. Some programs don't do that anymore, but Ryan Day thinks it's important. If you aren't attending the game, we have you covered in every way you can consume the game on Saturday afternoon.
How to watch the Ohio State football Spring Game
The easiest way to watch is to tune into the Big Ten Network on Saturday at noon. The game can also be streamed live on foxsports.com, as well as the FOX Sports app. FOX One will also carry the game, meaning fans will have plenty of options to consume the first live action of the Buckeyes in 2026.
If you are not able to watch the game on TV, you can listen to the game on 97.1 the Fan in Columbus. There will likely be close to 70,000 fans in the Shoe, so it should be fun to watch on TV with that kind of environment for all of the young players.
Long-time starters likely won't get many snaps, as Day wants to use this game for guys who really need to get some snaps. Don't expect to see Julian Sayin or Jeremiah Smith out on the field very long. Still, there will be plenty of time to see the young guys, including Tavien St. Clair.
