For a lot of Ohio State fans, this week is the biggest week of the college football season, even bigger than the week of the National Championship when the Buckeyes are in it. This is the week where one team gets all the bragging rights for the next 365 days, and they get a nice trophy to go along with it.
This is the week where Ohio State plays The Team Up North, and the rivalry is so strong that this week, every "M" is covered with an "X" in Columbus, and no one dares speak the name of The Team Up North. Rivalry week truly is something else, and nothing compares to the rivalry of The Game between Ohio State and The Team Up North.
Former Alabama coach Nick Saban once coached at Ohio State as the defensive backs coach from 1980 to 1981, so he knows how intense this rivalry is. However, he had a crazy take on how he thinks fans should view this rivalry, and it could upset some people.
Nick Saban practically calls out Ohio State fans for being too crazy about TTUN rivalry
"These Ohio State fans are psychotic about this. They all need to go see a doctor. ... I'd rather win the National Championship than beat Michigan."

Nick Saban has been around some crazy rivalries from The Game to the Iron Bowl, and he knows how crazy fans can get. Saban was around when Ohio State finally got a big win over The Team Up North in 1981, and he is around now when the Buckeyes are currently on a 4-game losing streak against them.
When talking on "The Pat McAfee Show," Saban spoke about how crazy fans get about this rivalry and even called them out in the most insane way, even telling people to go see a doctor.
"These Ohio State fans are psychotic about this; they all need to go see a doctor," Saban said. "I'd rather win the National Championship than beat Michigan."
Well, in some cases, Saban may not be entirely wrong. Ohio State may have gotten beat last year by The Team Up North, but the Buckeyes got the last laugh in the end with a National Championship win. Of course, Ryan Day is going to do everything in his power to get his guys fired up to get a win this weekend, but the bigger prize is that National Championship Trophy, which is a lot more in reach for the Buckeyes than The Team Up North.
