This Saturday will be the most intense game for the Ohio State football team all year long. They have been waiting an entire year to get revenge on TTUN for what happened last season. In fact, the Ohio State Buckeyes haven't lost since that game. The intensity meter will be turned up.

With the Buckeyes having lost four straight to Michigan, they are determined to end the streak this year. On the flipside, TTUN needs to beat Ohio State to have any prayer of making the College Football Playoff. Both teams will have a lot of pressure on them as the game plays itself out.

Joel Klatt and Gus Johnson will be on the call, as this is a Big Noon Kickoff game. Klatt has seen a lot of both teams, as they both have been featured on Big Noon often. Klatt had a bold take about The Game while he was previewing it on his podcast.

Joel Klatt believes that The Ohio State football vs. Michigan will be the most intense game ever

While talking on his show, The Joel Klatt Show, Klatt said he believes that we are experiencing the greatest moment in the rivalry's history.

"We are experiencing the greatest moment in this rivalry – maybe ever – and everything is on the line. For Ohio State, they don't have one player who has beaten Michigan. And for Michigan, they don't have a single player that has lost to Ohio State. We're sitting here watching this game where Michigan needs a win to go to the Playoff. Ohio State needs a win to go compete for a Big Ten Championship."

To say that this is the greatest moment in this rivalry is a massive stretch. I would argue that the 2006 matchup was much greater. That game was to determine the Big Ten champion and who would go play for a national championship, as they were the top two-ranked teams in the country.

Still, Klatt's point is well-taken. This is an intense rivalry with a lot on the line on Saturday. This game is going to be tense from the moment it kicks off until the final moment that the game ends.
