FOX looks like they are once again robbing Ohio State fans of an epic night game

The Ohio State football team looks like it will not be playing a night game against a premier opponent yet again.

Over the last few years, FOX has infuriated Ohio State football fans. They continue to rob the Buckeyes of playing some epic night games. Last year, they didn't allow the opener against Texas to be a night game. That would have been the perfect opportunity for a non-conference game to be at night.

With FOX, CBS, and NBC in charge of Big Ten football games, the battle for the Ohio State Buckeyes is waged between those three networks every week. Almost every week, the Buckeyes have the highest-rated game of any Big Ten team. That's why they are in such high demand.

This year, Ohio State will have a much harder schedule. They will be playing some big brands. Fans hoping that they will get to host a night Big Ten game against a premier program are about to be disappointed again, as there likely will not be a home game against Oregon.

The Ohio State football team likely won't host a night game against Oregon

On November 7, the Buckeyes host the Ducks. It would be the perfect opportunity for a night game. However, NBC has the night games since FOX refuses to put games at night. Notre Dame has already announced their night games, and it will be having one that night against Miami.

With that being the case, it is very likely that Ohio State's game against Oregon will be a Big Noon Kickoff. Once again, FOX is robbing Ohio State fans of an opportunity to watch the Buckeyes play one of the best teams in the country at home in a night environment.

The network deals are robbing Ohio State fans of an opportunity to make memories that they will never forget. Quite frankly, it's extremely frustrating that Ohio State has to keep playing really good teams at home during the day. It hurts recruiting, too.

Unless Ross Bjork starts throwing his weight around, this is going to continue to happen. Ohio State will be stuck playing Alabama and Georgia at noon in the next few years, too. It's a frustrating reality for fans who keep shelling out for rising season ticket prices year after year.

The Buckeyes have not played a home night game against a premier Big Ten program in quite a while. It doesn't look like that is going to change anytime soon, either. The TV networks refuse to let that happen.
