The Ohio State football program produces wide receivers at an incredible rate. For five straight years, they have produced a first-round receiver. That continued this year with Carnell Tate going fourth overall. Next year, Jeremiah Smith will continue that trend.

One former Buckeye who isn't counted in that number is Jameson Williams. He wouldn't want to be included, anyway. Williams transferred to Alabama and immediately started trashing the Ohio State Buckeyes and their fans. Quite frankly, a lot of Buckeye fans dislike him immensely.

Williams got suspended after being drafted by the Lions for gambling. Fans of the Buckeyes are glad he plays for a team in Michigan so they can ignore him. Now, he has found himself back in the news for college football fans, as he is suing the Big Ten and the SEC.

Former Ohio State receiver Jameson Williams sues the Big Ten, SEC

According to the New York Post, Williams has sued the Big Ten and the SEC for profiting off of his likeness. He claims that he deserves to receive payments for his NIL. Most of these suits have already been settled, so it doesn't make much sense for him to file a lawsuit now.

With every move this guy makes, it makes Ohio State fans dislike him further. It seems like he is only interested in money and nothing else, which is disappointing. Williams does have a lot of talent, which is why the Lions have put up with his shenanigans. In fact, he has turned into an integral part of their offense.

In each of the last two seasons, Williams has had over 1,000 receiving yards in each of the last two seasons. It's unclear when this lawsuit will be heard, as this is just the beginning of the proceedings. It's highly unlikely that it will be taken care of before the start of the NFL season, unless it gets dismissed.
