Former Ohio State basketball player Jacy Sheldon was drafted by the Dallas Wings with the fifth overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft. She no longer plays for the Wings. She now plays for the Connecticut Sun and is one of the guards that they count on.

Sheldon had one of the most prolific collegiate careers in Ohio State history while she was with the Buckeyes. She was even able to take down Caitlin Clark in college multiple times. That rivalry has transferred over to the WNBA, as neither player likes the other.

Clark seems to dislike Sheldon more than any other basketball player she played in college. That spilled over into a game between the Fever and the Sun on Tuesday night when Sheldon was involved in multiple skirmishes with the Fever, including one with Clark.

Sheldon had a foul against Clark that she didn't particularly like, and she reacted as such. Clark was extremely angry about what happened. Take a look at what happened below.

That wasn't the only skirmish that Sheldon was involved in, as you can see above. Sophie Cunningham came in with a hard foul in retribution for everything that happened. The Ohio State Buckeyes took down Clark's Hakweyes, but the Sun weren't able to beat the Fever.

Even though Sheldon didn't win this game, she clearly is in Clark's head. Beating her that many times in college certainly made her angry. Sheldon isn't the superstar that Clark is, but she's still a pretty darn good player. She looks like she's finally adjusting to the pro game.

Once she's fully adjusted, Sheldon will be a solid player in the WNBA for years to come. The Sun is happy to have Sheldon on their team, and she won't back down from anyone.
