Former Ohio State player claims Big Ten is nowhere near the level of the SEC

His argument doesn't make a lot of sense.

The Ohio State football team took down two SEC teams last season during the College Football Playoff, taking down both Tennessee and Texas en route to winning the national championship. It seemed to seal up the fact that the Big Ten was superior to the SEC last year.

With the Big Ten having won two straight national championships, the SEC has been under fire. This season, the Buckeyes once again look like the best team in the country. Indiana is the second-ranked team in the country behind them, and Oregon is also in the top ten.

Despite the fact that the Big Ten has three teams in the top ten, one former Ohio State football player thinks that the Big Ten is closer to the ACC than they are to the SEC, despite the fact that the ACC looks like it is going to be a one-bid league in the CFP this year.

Former Ohio State football player Joey Galloway thinks the Big Ten isn't close to the ACC

While speaking on Nonstop with Kirk and Joey, Galloway made the argument that the Big Ten is actually closer to the ACC than the SEC, much to the surprise of former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit.

"I just think they're closer (to the ACC) this year because the bottom is not great."

Herbstreit did mention the fact that the ACC has beaten itself up over the last two weeks. Meanwhile, the best of the Big Ten keep winning games no matter who they end up playing. The Ohio State Buckeyes, Hoosiers, and Ducks keep winning games, no matter who they face.

If Ohio State wins the national championship again, it will officially end the argument of whether the Big Ten or the SEC is the best conference. The rest of the Big Ten will be watching them, and the Hoosiers try to win that ultimate prize.
