The Ohio State football program had multiple representatives during Super Bowl LX. Multiple former Buckeyes were on the Patriots, and the Seahawks had one former Buckeye. In fact, Seattle has Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who won the Offensive Player of the Year Award.
Smith-Njigba had the most receiving yards in the NFL this season, and he was the best receiver in the league. While he was not able to win a title with the Ohio State Buckeyes, he was hoping to get his first championship by winning this Super Bowl.
JSN wasn't as impactful as many thought he was going to be, but he still made key plays in the game. He finished with four catches for 27 yards, but took a lot of attention away from other offensive players. That helped Seattle win the game 29-13 and win their second Super Bowl title.

TreVeyon Henderson was hoping things were going to go differently for the Patriots, but the New England offense was shut down for most of the game. Former Buckeye player and coach Mike Vrabel was not able to figure out the correct gameplan to win this game.
Fans have a mixed reaction with Smith-Njigba. He was healthy enough to return during the 2022 CFP run, but decided not to. In any case, he certainly has helped Ohio State recruiting by winning this game. He was the top receiver in the NFL this season and won a title. What more can you ask for as a receiver recruit?
With football over for the year, Ohio State football fans will have to wait until the Spring Game to watch their team play again. The basketball team isn't giving Buckeye fans much relief, so it might be a long couple of months.
