Emeka Egbuka is already showing himself to be perhaps the best rookie in the NFL at any position. He was only the 19th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, but 29 other teams might be regretting their decision to pass on him. Egbuka is putting up highlight reel plays every week.

In his first NFL game, the former Ohio State football player scored a game-winning touchdown. In Week 2, he scored another touchdown. This week, he electrified the crowd with another incredible play. This time, it wasn't a scoring play. That doesn't make it any less special, though.

Former Ohio State receiver Emeka Egbuka has an increidble one-handed catch

While playing in a game against the Jets, Egbuka had an amazing one-handed catch along the sidelines with a defender draped all over him. Take a look at the play below.

Egbuka has shown that he has some of the best hands in the NFL, and he's just a rookie. He will only get better as time goes on, as well. His route-running is already elite. Once he learns the timing of the NFL game, he's going to be almost impossible to cover down the field.

The Buccaneers are very happy to have him on their roster. He's going to be the number-one receiver for them when Mike Evans retires, and it looks like he might already take that mantle this season. He's been the best receiver that Tampa has had so far this year.

No one develops receivers for the NFL better than the Ohio State Buckeyes. They are the best at what they do in terms of making sure guys are ready to perform at the next level. Egbuka has proven that already in just three weeks of being an NFL player.

Just wait until the NFL world gets a taste of Carnell Tate next year and Jeremiah Smith in 2027. The Buckeye receivers just keep on coming.
