Dobbins has torn his ACL and his Achilles tendon in two different seasons. He has had the worst possible luck when it comes to injuries. It's why he was let go from the Ravens, the team that drafted him, ahead of last season. He then signed with the Chargers to play under Jim Harbaugh.
Harbaugh was able to revive Dobbins' career in a real way. Dobbins had by far the best season of his career. He played in 13 games and ran for 905 yards and nine touchdowns. Despite the career-high numbers, the Chargers didn't want to keep him. He has finally found a new home.

Dobbins has signed a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos to continue his career. He is at a unique part of his career because he is still just 26 years old. He also doesn't have nearly as many hits as a normal 26-year-old running back because of the two season-ending injuries he suffered.
It's astonishing that it took this long for Dobbins to find a home, considering the numbers he put up last year. He seems to be able to put up really good numbers as long as he can stay healthy. Denver is now the team that will give him that chance.
