The Ohio State football program has produced some really good defensive linemen over the years. This season, Caden Curry is hoping to be the next great NFL defensive end to play for the Buckeyes. He seemed to make plays at the right time for Ohio State in his career.

In April, he realized his dreams by becoming an NFL player. He was drafted in the sixth round by the Indianapolis Colts. He's from Greenwood, Indiana, so now he gets a chance to play for his hometown team. Curry also gets to join one of his former Ohio State teammates.

J.T. Tuimoloau was a second-round pick of the Colts last season. He is pleased that he gets to share the locker room with Curry again. Recently, Tuimoloau talked about how happy he is that Curry gets to play with him once again in Indianapolis as a professional.

While speaking to the media, Tuimoloau talked about his emotions once he learned that Curry was going to be a Colt.

"I kept telling him, 'Bro, I got a feeling. I got a feeling, we're going to get you. We're going to get you.' And it was crazy, after I watched us pick up C.J., I kind of went and did my thing, cleaned the house. I was like, 'Let me hop back on and see we're picking.' As soon as I hop back on, it's Caden."

Tuimoloau was so excited to have Curry back on his team that he immediately called him, probably before the media even got a chance to talk to him.

"I called him. I probably called him before we called him, before he even got on the interview with you guys. So I was truly excited to get another Buckeye with us. Just truly blessed. I made sure to tell him that I need him right next to me. We're locker buddies, so it's like we never left."

Ohio State DE has work to do to make the Indianapolis Colts this Fall

There is no guarantee that Curry will be locker buddies for long with Tuimoloau. As a sixth-round pick, he will have to work hard to make the team. The Colts have been drafting multiple edge guys over the last three or four years, trying to find someone who can rush the passer.

If Curry is going to make the team, he is going to have to have a really strong training camp. Last season for the Ohio State Buckeyes, he had 11 sacks. That kind of production would certainly see him make the team in Indianapolis. He could end up being a steal as a sixth-rounder.

As for Tuimoloau, he's looking to have a better year in his second season than he showed as a rookie. Last year, he was a healthy scratch for multiple games and was never able to show much. The Colts are expecting him to have much more of an impact on the defense.
