The most dominant Ohio State football player I have ever seen is Chase Young. He was absolutely wrecking games in his final season with the Ohio State Buckeyes. That 2019 team is still one of the best teams that the Buckeyes have ever fielded, and Young was a big reason for that.

In his final season with the Buckeyes, Young had a whopping 21 tackles for loss and 16.5 sacks and forced a whopping six fumbles. His sack numbers led the country. After that, he was the second overall pick with the Washington Commanders. His NFL career hasn't been the best, though.

Young has now played for three different NFL teams and has only made one Pro Bowl, and that was in his rookie season. Still, that didn't stop him from signing a big deal in free agency on Monday night. He signed a big deal to stay with the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints clearly liked his production from last season when he had 5.5 sacks because they signed him to a three-year deal that is worth up to $ 57 million. He will get at least $51 million in the deal. It's another Buckeye signing a massive contract in the NFL.

Even though Young hasn't been able to put up massive numbers as many expected him to in the NFL, he still is young and has a lot of talent. New Orleans clearly thinks that he can still be a productive player for them. Hence, they invested in him this offseason.

Young could still sign one more massive contract if he plays well during this one. Health has been a problem for him, as he has not been able to play in a full season until last year. It seems like he has finally found a way to keep himself on the field.

This is more good recruiting information for the Buckeyes to use. If you want to sign a deal for a lot of money in the NFL, it has been proven that Ohio State will help you get there.
