Former Ohio State football player calls out Ryan Day after loss to Michigan
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football program is in shambles. They came into The Game as 19-point favorites and lost 13-10 against the worst Michigan team since 2020. Offensively, the Ohio State Buckeyes couldn't have played worse. Ryan Day has shown that he isn't the right player to lead the program.
Ohio State is getting picked apart. There was even a skirmish after the game on the field, and Ohio State couldn't do anything positive. Day has completely lost any credibility when it comes to being the head coach of the program. One former Ohio State football player is taking shots at him now.
Tyreke Johnson was a former player for the Buckeyes. He was a member of the 2020 national championship finalist team. Following that, he transferred to Nebraska. Quite frankly, he didn't play a lot no matter where he played. He had some words about Day as a coach.

Johnson claimed that he was out on Day following the National Championship Game in 2020 against Alabama. Take a look at what he said happened during halftime of that game.
Johnson wasn't good when he was with the Buckeyes and wasn't good when he transferred to Nebraska. He claims that was due to a multitude of injuries. He is out of football now and has decided to kick his former coach while he's the most down he's ever been.
Unfortunately for Day, he has no retort to this. He has now lost four straight games in this game. Quite frankly, TTUN owns him. There's nothing else to say about that. Whether or not this thing that Johnson says is true, it's going to get traction. That's especially true following the post-game fight.
Day is going to take shots until the Buckeyes play their CFP game. He deserves every shot he takes. He's a loser and Johnson is exploiting that fact.
