The Ohio State football team was led to the national championship by Will Howard. He transferred in after four years at Kansas State because he wanted to win a national title and be developed as a quarterback. He thought that Ryan Day could help him do that.

Howard played some of the best football of his career during the four-game run through the College Football Playoff. He showed how well he can play on the biggest stage. Howard has shown that he is the perfect leader for a team that has high aspirations.

Even though he didn't have the best Combine performance, Howard was a lot better during Ohio State Pro Day. Also, his tape doesn't lie. He is clearly a great player. A former NFL coach loves Howard and compared him to the league MVP. That's a lot of love.

Former NFL coach compares Ohio State quarterback to Josh Allen

Howard appeared with former NFL coach Jon Gruden on his QB Class show, and he showed Howard a lot of love. In fact, he compared him favorably to the league MVP, Josh Allen.

Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and he was able to win the league MVP last season. This is the first time that anyone has evoked Allen's name in a comparison with Howard. He is a former NFL head coach, though. He knows more about football than I will ever know.

Howard certainly has the same demeanor as him in terms of doing whatever it takes to win. He has been able to show NFL scouts that he can win at the highest level. That's what the quarterback position is about. If he turns into something anything close to Allen, an NFL team is going to be very haappy.

Howard is going to be a solid player. He could definitely be a long-term starter in this league.
