The Ohio State football team will have a much easier time playing football this week after having to face Texas in the first game of the season. The Buckeyes were able to win that game 14-7 in what ended up being a defensive struggle between two elite teams.

Grambling State will present no such challenge for the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday afternoon. They have no shot to keep this game close, which is what the Buckeyes are hoping for. They want to be able to open up the offense more than they did against the Longhorns.

Ohio State is favored by an astounding 55.5 points, which is the most they have ever been favored by in any game. That's an incredibly large number, even for the number-one team in the country. Yet, it's a fair number that the Buckeyes should be able to approach.

The Ohio State football team will crush Grambling State on Saturday

Ohio State should end up demolishing the Tigers. This game likely won't be close, but 55.5 points is a lot of points to cover. Julian Sayin should be able to let it fly for the first time in his career, and he should have well over 300 yards passing before he eventually heads to the bench.

The starters will not play more than three full quarters in this game. Most of the defense will probably be pulled after halftime. Sayin could stay out there a little longer in order to get more reps so he can sling it, something he wasn't able to do against Texas.

The Buckeyes should be able to win this game 56-0. If Texas was only able to must seven points against this defense, Grambling State has no shot to score. The only hope they have of putting up points is late in the fourth quarter when the third-string guys are out there.

It would be shocking if Sayin didn't have a massive day. Ohio State is also going to make it a point to run the ball better than they did in Week 1. The offensive line should be able to handle the Tigers much better, so expect them to get a bigger push. Ohio State should have 150+ yards rushing.

This is the perfect team to schedule after a grinding game against Texas. Ohio State can breathe while they refine the kind of team that they want to be for this season.
