The Ohio State football program continues to host some 2026 recruits as they work to fill out their recruiting class. They now have the second-best recruiting class in the country because they have 15 recruits in the class. Ohio State has some key recruits visiting this weekend.

Four-star linebacker Cincere Johnson is one of the recruits visiting the Ohio State Buckeyes this weekend. He is someone whom the Buckeyes have been recruiting for a while. He is choosing between Ohio State, Penn State, and Alabama. His decision is scheduled for June 19th.

The Buckeyes are hoping that this weekend will make a good enough impression for him to choose Ohio State. Ohio State has been getting some better effort from Larry Johnson in recent weeks on the recruiting front, and adding Johnson would be a big addition.

Johnson stands at 6'3 and 240 pounds. He is considered an edge, but he could be used as an edge linebacker who could end up rushing the passer well. That seems to be the plan that Matt Patricia has for him, as he has talked about his recruitment.

Ohio State is starting to ramp up recruiting efforts now that camp season is here. The Buckeyes are expecting to add at least ten more prospects before the 2026 recruiting class is over. Johnson is someone whom they consider a high priority on their recruiting board.

Ryan Day and his staff are hoping that what they do this weekend is enough to land a commitment from Johnson next week. This is the last visit that he is going to make before he makes his decision, meaning that Ohio State feels pretty good about their chances to get him.

The Buckeyes have some massive visits scheduled for the next few months with other recruits, as well.
