We told you about the arrest of former Ohio State football player Quinshon Judkins for domestic violence. The incident occurred on July 7th, but he wasn't arrested until the 12th. For some reason, there was a five-day gap between the alleged incident and the cops getting involved.
Judkins still hasn't signed his rookie contract, so this could cause him some big problems as those negotiations continue. The reason why Judkins hadn't signed his deal yet is that he was holding out for more guaranteed money. That looks like a bad decision now.
The full allegation has now come out from this incident, and it doesn't look great for the former member of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Despite the fact that Judkins and the victim stayed together for five days after the incident, the allegation is a very bad look for Judkins.
Victim of former Ohio State football player was allegedly punched in the face
According to the allegation from the victim, Judkins struck her with a closed fist in the lip/chin area on their way to the airport. The incident was bad enough that the police deemed that a crime had been committed, so they arrested Judkins following the incident report.
What that means for the investigation is unclear at this point. All of these things are allegations, so nothing has been proven in a court of law. Judkins needs to make sure that he doesn't put himself in a situation like this ever again, regardless of whatever comes out of this incident.
As Judkins starts his NFL career, he needs to put himself in a position where he can earn as much playing time as possible, not giving the Browns reasons not to play him. Instead, he is not giving the Browns a good first impression of him. He was never an issue in Columbus, so this incident is surprising.
