Former Ohio State football player Quinshon Judkins has been arrested on domestic abuse charges in Florida. The second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns was still in jail as of Saturday night because of the charges. He was the 36th overall pick in the 2025 draft.

Judkins transferred to the Ohio State Buckeyes prior to the 2024 season and was a key member of their 2024 national championship team. He ran for over 1,000 yards and had 14 rushing touchdowns. Judkins actually had three total touchdowns in the national championship game.

Following his lone season with the Buckeyes, Judkins declared for the NFL Draft. He was taken by the Browns ahead of teammate TreVeyon Henderson. While Judkins was present for rookie minicamp, he is the only Cleveland draft pick not to sign his contract yet.

There are not a lot of details as far as what kind of incident this is involving Judkins. This is the first time that he has had some sort of issue since he's been in the state of Ohio. Obviously, this is a very serious situation that needs to be sorted out.

With Judkins not having signed his contract yet, this could have massive ramifications for his NFL career. These charges are just allegations, and he has not been proven guilty of anything. However, he doesn't need to be convicted of anything to be suspended by the NFL under the conduct policy.

Any sort of suspension would surely impact his contract and what kind of guaranteed money he would be able to receive from the Browns. While he was with the Buckeyes, he was one of the offensive leaders. There were certainly no signs of anything like this.

We will certainly keep you updated on the facts as they arise in this case, as well as any other details that emerge.
