College Gameday will be on-site for the Ohio State football vs. Indiana game
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team will be playing in the biggest game in college football next week. They take on the Indiana Hoosiers in what will certainly be the biggest game in IU football history. It's the third time that the Ohio State Buckeyes have played a top-five matchup this year.
So far, the Buckeyes are 1-1 in those games. They lost on the road to Oregon by one point in the first matchup. In the second matchup, they beat Penn State on the road 20-13. This is the first time one of those top-five matchups will be at home in the friendly confines of Ohio Stadium.
In each of those first two matchups, College Gameday was on-site for the game. The Buckeyes are perennially a favorite team for them to have on the show. Against IU, College Gameday will once again be on-site for a Buckeye game. That means this is the third time they've visited an Ohio State game this year.
College Gameday will be in Columbus for Ohio State football vs. IU
Gameday isn't the only college football pregame show that will be in Columbus. Big Noon will also be there because it is the Big Noon Kickoff game. It's yet another noon kick. It could cost Ohio State a recruit because of that kickoff time. Still, it's the biggest game of the weekend.
IU is coming off a bye week. That marks the second week in a row that Ohio State will be facing an opponent fresh off a bye week. Northwestern did the same and they got crushed by the Buckeyes. Indiana is much better than Northwestern, so the start of the game will be a concern.
The atmosphere for this game should be charged up. The weather doesn't look great right now, but a lot of things can change between now and Saturday afternoon.
