Ohio State wide receiver commit Chris Henry Jr. gave the Buckeyes a bit of a scare when he didn't sign on the first day of the Early Signing Period. The news that offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Brian Hartline was heading to USF had just broken, and Henry just wanted some time to mull over his decision with the announcement.

In the end, Henry, who had been committed to the Buckeyes for years, signed with Ohio State, and everyone in Columbus was able to take a sigh of relief. Recently on his family podcast "Henry Legacy," Henry spoke about his decision to stick with Ohio State and what he thinks the future looks like for the receiver room, and it shows that this kid is ready to work.

"Ever since I got the offer, I just knew I wanted to be there," Henry said. "Everything always felt right, and I always felt at home when I came back."

Henry said he has always felt at home at Ohio State, but his relationship with Hartline was a big reason he chose the Buckeyes. It made sense that Henry wanted to mull over everything when Hartline made the announcement he was leaving, but there is one reason Henry stayed, and it is one that will make Ohio State fans even more ready to see him on the field.

"I feel like Ohio State is still going to be Wide ReceiverU and it's still going to stay the same," Henry said. "We're still going to keep producing guys; it's like a machine for receivers, and I'm excited to be there."

Clearly, Henry wasn't feeling that from anyone else, especially other Big Ten schools like Michigan, USC, or Oregon. Henry knows that by staying with the Buckeyes, it gives him a great opportunity to get to the NFL one day, which is always the ultiamate goal.
