It's widely considered that Ohio State football player Jeremiah Smith isn't just the best receiver in college football, but he's the best player at any position. He's by far the most dangerous weapon out there and someone that every opponent of the Buckeyes will have trouble dealing with.

Smith tore through the College Football Playoff last year, only playing one bad game. It wasn't even a bad game, either. He had just one catch for three yards against Texas, but that's because the Longhorns used at least two guys to deal with him wherever he went on the field.

As a sophomore, Smith looks like he's in even better shape to dominate college football. Opposing coaches are scared of him, and one college football analyst gave him some very high praise, calling him the best he's ever seen at the receiver position.

Ohio State football player Jeremiah Smith gets an incredible amount of praise from CFP analyst

A PFF College analyst gave Smith a large heaping of praise, calling him an all-time great already.

"This is truly going to be, I think, one of the greatest receivers we've ever seen in college football. The best player in college football, that is Jeremiah Smith...he is a generational type of receiver and still has to play two more years of college football."

Smith is a player whom Ohio State will try to get the ball to as much as possible this season. He is going to have not just opportunities to dominate the game himself, but also open up opportunities for other players because of how much attention he will be receiving from the defense.

There is a very good chance that Smith will be considered the greatest receiver in Ohio State football history when his career is over. The great thing for the Ohio State Buckeyes is that he still has to play two more years in Columbus before turning pro.

Fans of the Buckeyes better appreciate what they get to see from him right now because they might not get to see it ever again. That's how special a player he is.
