CFB pundit with insane list has Ohio State football player too far down

The Ohio State football team should be one of the favorites to win the national championship this season. After winning it last season, the Buckeyes still have a lot of talent coming back, especially on the offensive side of the ball. They have Jeremiah Smith, who is the best player in college football.

Adding Max Klare makes the offense even more dangerous now that they have a real weapon at tight end. Of course, they need a quarterback who can get him the ball, and Julian Sayin projects to be that quarterback. Even though he's a former five-star recruit, not everyone seems to think he's ready.

Sayin is clearly one of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten, but one college football pundit doesn't see it that way. Somehow, he sees Sayin as a middling quarterback in the conference. It's a ridiculous ranking for a player who could win the national championship.

Andy Staples shows Ohio State football player Julian Sayin no respect

On3 pundit Andy Staples put out his list of the best quarterbacks in the Big Ten. He somehow has Sayin ranked as the seventh-best quarterback in the conference.

The Buckeyes beat two of the quarterbacks ahead of Sayin on this list. They kept Drew Allar from scoring a touchdown and held Dylan Raiola to just 17 points. Having Sayin under both of those players is ridiculous. He hasn't started a game yet, but he still has more talent than those guys.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are a national championship contender as long as Sayin can be a good player. He doesn't even have to be an elite player with how much talent they have on that side of the ball. He just has to make sure he can get the ball to his playmakers and let them do the rest.

Staples is going to look foolish for this list later in the season. He is going to be very wrong.
