CFB analyst picks Miami over Ohio State football for no real reason at all

One analyst believes the Hurricanes will beat the Ohio State football team for all of the wrong reasons.

The Ohio State football team has been preparing to defend its national championship. This team went on an epic four-game run to bring the championship home. This year, the Buckeyes were able to earn a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff, something they failed to do a year ago.

Miami is the Buckeyes' first opponent in the Cotton Bowl after the Hurricanes beat Texas A&M 10-3 in College Station. The Hurricanes seem to have a lot of confidence that they can win this game, despite having very little offensive firepower. Ohio State still has massive confidence that it will easily dispatch the Hurricanes.

Despite the fact that the Buckeyes are one of the best teams in the country, one college football analyst picked the Hurricanes to beat them in an upset. In fact, he picked them without giving any real reason at all. He even picks the Hurricanes to get all the way to the national championship.

CFP analyst picks the Ohio State football team to lose to Miami

Danny Kannell of CBS Sports has picked the Hurricanes to upset the Buckeyes. Not only did he pick Miami to beat Ohio State, but he also picked them to beat Georgia and advance all the way to the national championship. His reasoning? None given.

Kannell is a known SEC hater, but he usually has good things to say about the Big Ten. Of course, Miami is the only ACC team that made it to the CFP. Kannell is a former ACC quarterback. He stumps for them when possible, and Miami is the only team he can stump for from that conference.

The winner of this game will face the winner of Georgia and Ole Miss. The Bulldogs are favored to win the game, but anything can happen once the games get going. For Kannell not to give any real reason for picking Miami over Ohio State doesn't make much sense.
