The Ohio State football team is losing a lot of talent from the 2025 team. Some players left in the Transfer Portal, while others will be headed for the NFL. There's a great chance that the Buckeyes have at least four first-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft.
This week, Senior Bowl practice is going on. The game will be played this weekend, and that will be the last chance for these seniors to make a positive impression on scouts and GMs. One of those players is Michigan defensive end Derrick Moore.
Moore has had a solid Senior Bowl practice session. So why does that matter for the Ohio State Buckeyes in any way? Tight end Will Kacmarek, who is hoping to have a solid pro career, tossed him like a rag doll in one of the best reps for him during The Game this past season.
Ohio State tight end's draft stock might go up thanks to TTUN player
Take a look at this play from Kacmarek during The Game in An Arbor.
I’ll always remember Derrick Moore as the guy that got ragdolled by TE Will Kacmarek ❤️ https://t.co/Tg1XMIiLLn pic.twitter.com/J7zZLocAe0

Kacmarek handled Moore with ease on that play, keeping him completely away from the running back. He showed this season that he has improved in a major way when it comes to blocking. That blocking improvement could see his draft stock shoot up.
Ohio State grabbed a couple of tight ends to help replace Kacmarek and Max Klare, who also declared for the draft. A big reason why Kacmarek decided to transfer to Ohio State in the first place was so that he would be better prepared for the NFL, and it seems they have helped him with that.
A few Buckeyes are participating in the Senior Bowl, including one of the biggest disappointments in recent memory. The goal is for all of those guys to practice and play well enough to improve their draft stock and get paid more money by whichever team drafts them.
