Ohio State has always been known for sending very talented players to the NFL. The Buckeyes have made a living on sending some great defenders to the league, including Saints defensive end Chase Young.
Young was once a first-round draft pick when he was taken by the Washington Commanders with the second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. While his career has seen lots of highs and lows, Young is still a defender that no offensive lineman wants to face. For the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, they certainly were happy when Young took plays off.
In the Saints' 34-26 win over the Titans on Sunday, Young had one of his best games of the season with four total tackles, three solo tackles, 1.5 sacks on quarterback Cam Ward, and a strip sack that was returned for a touchdown.

This is hopefully a good sign for what Ohio State will do to Miami on New Year's Eve. It was almost the perfect play for Buckeyes fans, with Young being a former Ohio State player and Ward being a former Miami player.
Ohio State and Miami are set to face off in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl
Young and Ward gave a solid preview of what Wednesday's game could look like. The Ohio State defensive line is ready to pin its ears back and get to Miami quarterback Carson Beck. The Buckeyes' defense has been the top defense all season long, and Miami has yet to see a team like Ohio State this year.
However, Beck is not just going to lie down in fear of the Ohio State defensive line. While the offensive performance that Miami put out against Texas A&M was not great, Beck was still able to make the big play when needed.
This is going to be a better matchup than some might think it will be, but hopefully, with Chase beating Ward on Sunday, the Buckeyes can recreate that magic.
