The Ohio State football team played its best game of the season on Saturday night, taking down Tennessee 42-17 in a game that was never close. All parts of the team were clicking. The offense couldn't be stopped, the defense didn't let the Vols get momentum, and the special teams stayed out of the way.
This was obviously a sweet victory for a lot of reasons. After Tennessee fans talked a ton of smack leading up to the game, claiming they were going to take over the Shoe, and SEC fans thinking this game was going to be an easy Vols win, it was great to watch Ohio State crush them.
This victory is sweet for another reason on top of all of those great reasons. The Buckeyes faced one of their former teammates in this game. Andre Turrentine, a defensive back, was hoping to beat the Buckeyes. Not only did that not happen, but he made no impact on the game at all.

Turrentine recorded just two tackles in this game and was one of the many defensive backs that Will Howard torched throughout the game. He had 311 passing yards and two passing touchdowns in this game. Turrentine clearly wasn't good enough to stop that from happening.
If you remember, Turrentine made headlines leading up to the game for saying that the Shoe doesn't get loud. Anyone who was there on Saturday night will tell you that it was very loud all night, especially in favor of the Ohio State Buckeyes.
It's nice to see the Buckeyes be able to shut him up and send him home. Turrentine didn't make an impact when he was with the Buckeyes, either. He was just trying to talk smack and hoped it would help his team get the win. Instead, they were thoroughly embarrassed.
