Ohio State commit David Jacobs is ready for the news stories to be over. Ever since committing to the Buckeyes almost a week ago, there have been many stories that Jacobs is going to flip to either Georgia or Miami, and he is here to set the record straight.
Among all the news stories about him planning to flip, Jacobs took to social media to make sure everyone knows that he is still planning to rock with Ohio State and he is 100% with the Buckeyes.
"All these story's need to stop I'm 100% committed to Ohio State," Jacobs said in his social media post.
All these story’s need to stop I’m 100% Committed to Ohio State.

Jacobs is a five-star EDGE rusher out of Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, Georgia. He is currently ranked as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2027, the No. 1 EDGE rusher in his class, and the No. 1 player in the state of Georgia, according to 247Sports recruiting rankings.
The top-ranked defensive rusher was a huge grab for Ohio State, especially after the crushing loss in the Cotton Bowl against Miami. This was one way the Buckeyes were able to take down the Hurricanes, and Jacobs certainly could be a difference-maker for Ohio State in the future.
While Jacobs was being heavily recruited by both Miami and Georgia as well, he chose the Buckeyes just a few days after Christmas. With the Buckeyes potentially losing some great talent to the NFL in the next few seasons, Jacobs could be coming in at just the right time for Ohio State.
Many of the news stories about Jacobs are coming from his comments on continuing to take official visits during his recruiting process. It is not uncommon for a committed player to keep taking official visits, but if Jacobs is making it clear he is 100% with the Buckeyes, fans have to take him at his word.
So, for anyone thinking this kid is flipping schools, think again because he is rocking with the Buckeyes for the long haul.
