He may currently be an Ohio State football commit, but that doesn't take away from the fact that plenty of Buckeyes fans are worried about Blaine Bradford moving forward. The 5-star safety has remain committed to Ryan Day, but Brian Kelly is pushing hard.

Yup, Kelly is working overtime in trying to flip the Baton Rouge product. It helps the Tigers that Bradford's older brother is currently suiting up for LSU too. However, Bradford has people breathing a sigh of relief, as he'll be back in Columbus for his sixth visit to campus. Per Sam Spiegelman, Ohio State is staying busy to 'fend off' LSU. Obviously, getting Bradford in town for the biggest game of the weekend helps:

On one hand, it's a worry that LSU continues to be on his mind. At the same time, it's a bit calming knowing that Bradford is flying up for the huge clash with Texas and that he still holds Ohio State dear to his heart. If he was skipping the Ohio State game and was instead going to wait for his first game visit to be an LSU home one, then we'd all be hitting the panic button.

Luckily, that's not the case here. Bradford is one of the top 2026 prospects in the country, as he's ranked five stars, the No. 5 safety in the country, No. 2 player for Louisiana and No. 36 playmaker overall for his class. He picked Ohio State over 29 other schools, including LSU.

His commitment was something that the OSU faithful celebrated widely when it happened on March 31. However, the feeling is that Ohio State has been holding on with everything it has to keep him on board. LSU indeed is making that kind of an impact on him.

Come this weekend, Day will have the opportunity to remind him why he committed in the first place. The Shoe is going to be packed and rockin' for the dance with Texas. Can you imagine how great it's going to be for Bradford if the Buckeyes dominate Arch Manning and the defense puts on a clinic?

Not only will it make the trip north worth it for him, but it could make him realize that there's going to be no better place for him to call home at the next level. The enormous weekend for Ohio State is now even bigger with Day hoping to impress Bradford. If he does, then some bad news should be on the way for Kelly and his staff once the Early Signing Period gets here.
