The Ohio State Buckeyes are taking on the Maryland Terrapins this weekend. At the start of the week, there was some thought that it could be the last game that Mike Locksley coaches for the Terps. However, it doesn't look like that will be the case, no matter how much they lose by.

Ohio State is a massive favorite to win this game. After what they did last week against a good Iowa team, it makes sense. It's time for our weekly bold predictions, and it starts with the best player in the sport: Jeremiah Smith.

1. Jeremiah Smith will have 125+ receiving yards in the first half

In each of the last two weeks, Smith has eclipsed 200 yards receiving. Not even the vaunted Hawkeyes defense could stop him from doing whatever he wanted. I fully expect more of the same this weekend, as Maryland's defense is much worse.

Smith will be able to rack up 125+ yards in the first half. He might only play in the first half, depending on how bad the score gets. Ohio State should only play its starters in the second half for a series or two in order to keep them fresh for Indiana next weekend.

2. Ohio State finally has a 100+ yard rusher

It's five games into the season, and the Buckeyes still don't have a 100-yard rusher in a single game. That's unheard of. With Arthur Smith coming in as the offensive coordinator, he was expected to have a heavy emphasis on improving the run game. Instead, it's much worse.

However, that will finally change this weekend. Even though Ja'Kobi Jackson has been the best back that Ohio State has had so far, Bo Jackson will be the one to break the streak. I believe he will rush for over 100 yards in this game. Once the second half hits, Ohio State will focus more on the run.

Ohio State is just 69th in the country in rushing yards, which is abysmal. They are lucky that Julian Sayin has the fourth-most passing yards in the country. Still, getting that running game going has to be something that the Bucks do if they are going to win a national championship.

3. A freshman receiver scores a touchdown

I'm not sure which one, but there will be a freshman receiver who scores a touchdown in this game. It's still unclear if Devin McCuin and Brandon Inniss are going to play in this one. If they don't, that opens up more opportunity for Brock Boyd and Chris Henry Jr.

Even if those two do play, both Boyd and Henry Jr. will get plenty of playing time in the fourth quarter of this game. They will have an opportunity to get into the end zone with either Luke Fahey or Tavien St. Clair throwing them the ball.

There's a chance that both of them score a touchdown. Ohio State should score a lot of points in this one, and the freshmen should be able to get on the board.
