Ohio State Football vs. Michigan Weather forecast
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is trying to finish their season undefeated. In order to do so, they have to beat Michigan on Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor. It will be the toughest game of the year by far. A ton is at stake for both programs with everything swirling around TTUN.
Ohio State winning this game on the road would prove that the only reason that Michigan won the last two matchups is because they cheated. Losing the game would mean that Ryan Day could need a new job. The stakes really couldn’t be higher.
The last time this game was in Ann Arbor, the Buckeyes had to play in the snow and wind. It wasn’t an ideal day to play football, but it wasn’t an excuse for them to lose. Michigan cheating is definitely an excuse. They hope the weather won’t be a factor this year.
Will the weather be a factor on Saturday? According to the Weather Channel, it will be about 35 degrees when the game kicks off at noon. The temperature will only rise slightly, getting to 37 degrees when the game is over. It certainly will be a cold one.
There won’t be any snow this year, which is a good thing. In fact, there will be no precipitation at all. The wind won’t be a factor either. It will only be blowing 2-6 mph during the game with occasional gusts up to 12 mph. That shouldn’t affect either team in the passing or kicking game.
The Buckeyes shouldn’t have any issue moving the ball on Saturday as far as the weather conditions are concerned. Both teams should be able to play their best. The game will be decided by who the better team is instead of the weather influencing things. That’s the way it should be.
