Final Score: Ohio State football 21, Michigan 13

I think this Ohio State football team is ready to take its revenge on Michigan in a big way come Saturday in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines are clearly reeling without having its head coach and they lack the trust in its starting quarterback right now. They leaned heavily on the run game in College Park last weekend, and it almost bit them.

The Buckeyes are ascending at the right time though. Kyle McCord has been progressively getting better and looks way more comfortable and confident in the offense. TreVeyon Henderson is playing the best ball of his career. And this Ohio State offensive line has come together at the right time. Throw in the weapons of Marvin Harrison Jr., Emeka Egbuka, and Cade Stover and I really think this Buckeye offense can move the ball on the Wolverine defense.

Defensively, the Buckeyes have been stout all year and I would look for that to continue in Ann Arbor. Michigan has been increasingly predictable on offense, and that could play right into Jim Knowles’ hand as he helps deliver one of the Buckeye’s finest defensive performances in The Game of recent memory. Linebacker Tommy Eichenberg should be back for this game and that would provide a big lift for the defense as well.

Next. Sonny Styles will be asked to do more. dark

Overall, I think Ryan Day will have this team ready and motivated to win this game in what could be a defining season for Day and this Buckeye coaching staff. Ohio State wins and it’s on to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship game.
