No. 2) The Ohio State football team finally gets a shutout.

The Ohio State defense has been dominating all season long and I think that could continue in a big way come Saturday. Even if Lathan Ransom can’t suit up, the Buckeyes have the depth to weather the storm in the short term.

Gavin Wimsatt is a dynamic player with the ball in his hands, but if Ohio State can turn him into a pass-first quarterback on Saturday, then good things will happen. The Buckeyes absolutely have the athletes on defense who can keep Wimsatt in the pocket and that is when he’s at his worst.

Look for some interceptions in this game as Jim Knowles turns him into a one-dimensional player. Now the real player that Ohio State must stop on the Scarlet Knights is its running back, Kyle Monangai, who has been excellent for Schiano and Rutgers this season. Monangai has 744 yards on the ground with seven touchdowns.

Stopping him won’t be easy, but the Buckeyes could and should put nine in the box and sell out to stop the run. If the Buckeyes can do that, they might be looking at its first shutout in quite a while.
