The Ohio State football team has a really good recruiting class for 2024. We’ve talked about how good this Buckeye recruiting class is right now and how good it can still be. One of those recruits played a high school game today and showcased how good he already is.

Jeremiah Smith is the best receiver in the class for the Buckeyes. In fact, he’s the best receiver in the entire class. He’s the second-best player in the 2024 class and showed what he can do today in his high school game on ESPN, scoring on national television.

Smith has such good hands and he runs really crisp routes. He does things that defenders can’t stop quite frankly. He’s a really good football player who could get some playing time as soon as he steps on campus next season. That touchdown was just a taste of what he can do.

Ohio State football fans are going to love this kid. Programs keep reaching out to try and flip him and he keeps stiff-arming them away. He has said multiple times that he is deeply committed to the Buckeyes and being the next great Ohio State receiver.

Brian Hartline keeps bringing in these elite receiver recruits. As long as these guys keep excelling in college and the NFL, he’s going to keep getting these great recruits. Smith is one of the best ones Hartline has signed since he’s been with the Buckeyes.

No matter who the quarterback is next year, Smith is a good weapon for that guy. The other receivers that Ohio State has on the roster currently will put up big numbers too. Smith has the chance to be even better than Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave, and that’s saying something.
