The Ohio State football program has a long-standing tradition of putting some great talent into the NFL. They have the most first-round draft picks of any program. They develop their players so that the transition into the NFL isn’t as tough as it is for other players from other programs.

The Buckeyes have plenty of great players in the NFL this season. NFL players annually vote on who the top 100 players are in the league. In this year’s version of the top 100, seven of them were Ohio State football players. That’s the second-most of any school. The only school that has more is Alabama.

Nick Bosa is the top-rated Buckeye. He was voted to be the fourth-best player in the entire league. That makes sense considering he is coming off a Defensive Player of the Year campaign that produced 18.5 sacks. It was just his fourth year in the league as well.

Cameron Heyward is the second-highest-rated Buckeye at 45. The wiley vet is still putting up big numbers for the Steelers. Nick’s brother Joey Bosa is 70th on the list, while second-year player Garrett Wilson is already up at 74. He just won Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Justin Fields makes his first appearance on the list at 86. Hopefully, he can show that he is an improved passer this year to make his play even better. Marshon Lattimore comes in at 89 on the list. The final Buckeye on the list is Terry McLaurin at 94.

As you can see, if you want to succeed in the NFL, Ohio State is the place for you. Buckeyes succeed at the next level and get paid a lot of money in doing so. This is yet another recruiting tool for Ryan Day and his staff to use when they look for the next generation of Buckeyes.
