Ohio State football vs. Mountain West

Boise State: Chris Peterson turned the Broncos into a household name in the late 2000s and early 2010s. Since he left, they haven’t been nearly as good. Ohio State has yet to face them.

Utah State: There’s no reason these two programs should ever play unless the Aggies get drastically better down the road. There are too many other programs closer to pay to come to the Shoe.

Colorado State: Ditto for the Rams. Unless they move to the Big 12, there’s no reason for the Buckeyes to ever schedule them.

New Mexico: Ohio State has played New Mexico State but never New Mexico. Perhaps that gets done at some point in the future.

Nevada: The Wolfpack have had some peaks of success. I could see the Buckeyes having them come out to the Shoe at some point in the future.
