The 2010s were a great decade for the Ohio State football team. They won a bunch of Big Ten Championships and were constant contenders for a national championship. They won one back in the magical 2014 run as well. It was a really good ten years for this program.

During that decade, there were plenty of great plays that the Buckeyes had. Some of the most memorable plays in Ohio State football history occurred in that decade. My goal is to choose just five of them as the most memorable plays of the decade.

This is not an easy task. So many great players made spectacular plays. But these are plays that stick out to you when you think of the Ohio State football team in recent memory. We start with a play that is one of the more incredible catches I’ve ever seen.

5. Noah Brown’s touchdown catch vs. Oklahoma

This was a game that the Buckeyes thoroughly dominated. The game actually started a couple of hours late due to a tornado warning near the stadium. After that passed, it was a really nice night for the Buckeyes to take on Oklahoma back in 2016.

Noah Brown had three touchdown catches in this game. This one is the most spectacular of them. As you can see in the picture above, Brown can’t even see the ball when he catches it. The video shows just how hard of a catch it was. It’s one of the few catches in college football history like this.

Brown pinned against the Oklahoma defender’s back with one hand and was able to get both feet in bounds for the 21-yard touchdown catch. It was his third one of the half and put the Buckeyes up 35-17. Ohio State would go on to win that game 45-24.

As good as that catch was, it’s hard to beat an iconic play against TTUN.
